Our client is a well-established, multi-doctor animal hospital located in Jacksonville, Florida, seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their fast-paced and compassionate team. The hospital provides high-quality veterinary care for small animals, combining advanced medical and surgical capabilities with exceptional client service. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays. Flexibility is required to support the needs of a busy hospital, including weekend availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to patients while maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients. Daily duties include performing physical examinations, diagnostic testing, surgery, and dentistry, as well as educating clients on preventive health care and treatment options. This role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with colleagues on patient care, and contributing to the continued growth of the clinical team. The position is best suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident in general small animal medicine and emergencies, with a commitment to professionalism, dependability, and client-focused care.

This modern hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including a surgical suite, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, acupuncture services, and an in-house laboratory. The hospital provides a full range of veterinary services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and advanced medical treatments. The facility combines cutting-edge technology with a compassionate, client-centered approach, ensuring the highest level of service and patient care.

Team
The hospital’s team includes four experienced DVMs supported by a skilled and dedicated support staff. The work environment is collaborative, with a strong focus on teamwork, communication, and continued professional development to maintain excellence in both medicine and client service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
