Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Indianapolis, hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides veterinary care for small animals, focusing on wellness, general surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, senior pet care, microchipping, and parasite control. The practice values collaboration, mentorship, and a welcoming environment for both clients and staff.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and is closed on weekends. The position is full-time with no weekend or after-hours shifts, supporting a strong work-life balance and flexible scheduling.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality veterinary care including wellness exams, surgical procedures, dental care, diagnostics, senior pet care, microchipping, and parasite control. The role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship and guidance available to support professional growth. Clinical responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, treatment planning, client communication, and delivery of compassionate care.

The hospital is AAHA-accredited and features a full surgical and dental suite, digital radiography, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory. Services offered include preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dental services, senior pet care, microchipping, and parasite control. Team

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
