General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service hospital providing veterinary care to cats, dogs, ferrets, pocket pets, and rabbits. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, while it remains closed on Sundays. Full-time veterinarians work an average of four 10-hour shifts each week, including rotating Saturdays. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide the full scope of general practice services. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This hospital has been serving the community since 1989 and is equipped with advanced veterinary technology and services, including in-house laboratories and pharmacy, digital radiology, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. They are committed to fear-free techniques where possible and promote a supportive and collaborative culture. Team
The hospital is home to three veterinarians supported by a strong and capable team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
