Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a two-doctor, companion animal hospital located in Hopewell Junction, NY. They are hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in a family-style practice environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes responsibilities in preventive care, wellness care, surgery, and dental case management. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art full-service facility offering a wide range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, microchipping, and senior pet care. The practice also partners with a mobile board-certified surgeon and cardiologist who provide specialty patient care. The culture emphasizes preventative care, client communication, and a friendly, compassionate environment for clients, patients, and staff.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by dedicated and experienced staff, working in a collaborative and caring environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
