Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly and dedicated team. The practice provides high-quality care for cats and dogs, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, compassion, and professional growth.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs, including surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventive care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship and training available to support professional development.

This long-standing, AAHA-accredited hospital is Fear Free accredited where possible and offers a wide range of services supported by advanced technology such as hands-free digital radiology, EKG, and OFA X-rays. The practice provides extensive medical services including cardiology, dermatology, oncology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, pain management, dentistry, anesthesia, wellness care, diagnostics, hospice care, and more. The environment is known for its family-like atmosphere, laughter-filled days, and commitment to delivering world-class veterinary medicine.

Team
The team includes 2 tenured veterinarians who have each been with the practice for over 20 years, supported by a dedicated and collaborative support staff. The culture encourages teamwork, mentorship, and a strong sense of community.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
