Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice provides care for cats and dogs in the northern Chicago suburbs and is rooted in the local community while benefiting from national support and resources.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm, and remains closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. This position is offered on a full-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness and preventative services, diagnostic testing, vaccines, surgery, and client communication. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and those seeking mentorship, with structured training and development opportunities available to support clinical and professional growth.

Practice Details
The hospital offers primary care supported by diagnostic technology and surgical capabilities. Services include wellness and preventative care, surgery, diagnostics, and vaccinations. Veterinarians have access to advanced training programs in areas such as dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and rehabilitation, supported by an established infrastructure that encourages ongoing learning and growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
