Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care exclusively to cats and dogs and is entering an exciting period of growth, rebranding, and refreshed identity. This role offers a unique opportunity for a veterinarian who is eager to contribute to the future direction of the hospital while delivering high-quality, client-focused care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with scheduling options available to align with individual preferences. This structure provides a predictable schedule and supports a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As the next Associate Veterinarian, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and evolution of the hospital, helping to shape the future of care for patients and their families. The role involves delivering comprehensive general practice veterinary services, including wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical procedures. You will work in a collaborative and client-centered environment where medical autonomy is respected, and your clinical expertise is valued. This position is ideally suited to an experienced veterinarian who is motivated to grow alongside the practice and contribute to its ongoing development and success.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a well-equipped and client-focused clinical environment designed to support both high-quality medicine and efficient workflows. You will have access to modern diagnostic and treatment tools, including radiology, cold laser therapy, and well-appointed examination rooms. The practice provides a wide range of services, including wellness and preventative care, cold laser therapy, surgery, dental care, vaccinations, and diagnostic imaging, ensuring comprehensive support for patients at every stage of life.

Team
Currently, the hospital has one DVM and is actively expanding its veterinary team as part of its growth plans. You will be supported by a dedicated and experienced group of team members, many of whom have been with the practice for over a decade. The support team includes three veterinary assistants and a practice manager, creating a stable and collaborative environment as the hospital enters an exciting new chapter of innovation and development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
