Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Seattle, Washington, seeking a Medical Director to lead their team. This small animal practice is AAHA-accredited and has been serving the community for over 20 years, offering comprehensive veterinary services in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The Medical Director position is full-time, with no after-hours or on-call responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, and diagnostics. Additionally, the role involves leadership responsibilities to guide the veterinary team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. The position is open to experienced veterinarians with a passion for mentoring and team development.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory services. Services offered encompass wellness and preventive care, dental care, surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care. The facility is designed to provide high-quality care in a compassionate and efficient manner.

The practice is home to 3 DVMs supported by a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
