Our client is a modern and progressive veterinary hospital based in Inman, South Carolina, currently seeking a Medical Director to lead their dedicated team. This small animal practice provides high-quality, compassionate veterinary care in a warm and welcoming environment. The hospital blends advanced medicine with a modern, fear-free approach, ensuring both patients and clients receive exceptional care in a calm and comfortable setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance. This is a full-time position with no after-hours or weekend requirements. The schedule provides stability and flexibility, allowing the Medical Director to focus on both clinical excellence and leadership responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will play a key leadership role in overseeing the clinical operations of the hospital while continuing to provide high-quality veterinary care. Responsibilities include performing general medicine, wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, parasite prevention, nutrition, and surgery. In addition to clinical duties, the Medical Director will guide the medical team, uphold clinical standards, mentor veterinarians and support staff, and contribute to strategic growth and practice development. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys both hands-on practice and leadership within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver advanced veterinary care in a supportive and modern setting. The facility includes digital radiology and dental radiology, a sterile surgical suite, four equipped exam rooms, two anesthesia machines, an Echonian laser for therapeutic treatments, and a private comfort room for sensitive consultations. The layout integrates indoor and outdoor daycare yards, creating a unique blend of top-quality medicine and a positive, low-stress environment. Veterinary services include wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, and nutritional counselling.

The hospital is home to three veterinarians supported by a skilled and compassionate team of technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
