Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative, team-oriented emergency and specialty environment. This hospital provides 24/7 care for dogs and cats and offers the opportunity to work closely with ER doctors, specialists, and highly trained technical staff while practicing outstanding emergency medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The emergency department operates 24/7. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a wide range of urgent and critical cases, including allergic reactions, abscesses, bite wounds, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, fractures, collapse, gastrointestinal symptoms, toxin ingestion, heatstroke or hypothermia, dystocia, lacerations, lameness, major wounds, lethargy, inappetence or weight loss, loss of consciousness, constipation, severe bleeding, seizures, neurologic signs, sudden blindness, foreign body ingestion, toenail injuries, and trauma including falls or hit-by-car incidents. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital operates in a modern 24,000-square-foot facility equipped with advanced technology to deliver high-level emergency and specialty care. Specialty services available include cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery. Recent additions include a Varian TrueBeam® linear accelerator for radiation oncology. The hospital culture emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and strong relationships with patients, clients, and referral partners, supported by a skilled team of certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives.

The team consists of passionate emergency clinicians, specialists, and highly trained support staff who work together to provide exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
