Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty hospital seeking an Emergency Clinician to join its dedicated team. This AAHA-accredited hospital treats small animals and offers both emergency and specialty services in a state-of-the-art facility. The practice fosters a collaborative, team-based environment with a strong focus on mentorship and professional development.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time emergency position within a 24/7 hospital setting. Specific doctor hours are not provided, but the schedule involves shift work consistent with around-the-clock emergency care. The hospital operates continuously with no closures, ensuring patients have access to care at all times.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Clinician will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing urgent and critical cases, consulting with specialists, and working closely with interns and residents. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor house officers through a structured Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program. This position is open to candidates who are seeking growth in a highly supportive setting and enjoy working in a multi-specialty hospital environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology, including digital radiology, fluoroscopy, I-131, ultrasound, CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory capabilities. It features a highly trained ICU nursing team and a recently constructed 18,000+ square-foot facility. The hospital works closely with a nearby sister hospital to provide expanded specialty care, such as MRI, dialysis, and plasmapheresis. Services offered include anesthesia and pain management, cardiology, critical care, dermatology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, medical oncology, and surgery.

Team
The hospital is home to a collaborative team of emergency doctors, specialists, rotating interns, specialty interns, and residents. There are two Internal Medicine residents and two Surgery residents based at the hospital, with a focus on training and education. The environment is highly supportive, with doctors always having access to consultation and guidance from peers and specialists.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
