Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team in Baltimore, Maryland. The hospital provides veterinary care for companion animals and focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality medicine within a collaborative practice environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering mentorship and professional development in a supportive clinical setting.
Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, and communicating clearly with clients regarding treatment and preventative care. The role also involves collaborating with veterinarians, technicians, and client service representatives to maintain an efficient and productive hospital team. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary facility offering services including wellness care, preventative medicine, vaccinations, diagnostics and blood work, dental care, laser surgery, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, nutrition counseling, orthopedic care, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and treatment, and urgent care management. The facility includes 3 exam rooms, a treatment area, a dedicated operating room, digital full-body and dental radiographs, ultrasound, and plans for a new dental suite.

The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment with experienced staff and strong mentorship opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
